We began and ended our trip in Milano where we flew into and out of the Linate airport. Our first destination was the Cinque Terre along the Ligurian Sea. After checking into our hotel in Levanto, we spent a week hiking to and walking among the five tiny fishing villages that make up the Cinque Terre: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. Our next destination was Tuscany and more precisely the wine region of Chianti (with a quick trip to Pisa's famous tower first). While in Tuscany, we visited the two largest and most historically significant cities, Firenze (Florence) and Siena. Before heading back to Milan for our flight back to Austin, we spent two glorious days in Venezia (Venice).
